First run

Three steps to your first take.

  1. 1Download and drag ShowRevue to Applications.
  2. 2Open it and press Start 14-Day Trial in the banner. Professional unlocks on that Mac.
  3. 3Launch a new show. The wizard sets up the camera, audio, timecode and your desk, then you record.

Other versions

Earlier builds are here for troubleshooting. When ShowRevue offers an update, choose Skip This Version to stay on the build you installed. Quit ShowRevue before replacing it, and keep a copy of your projects first.

What it needs

Before you install.

macOS
macOS 14 Sonoma or later, on an Apple silicon Mac (M1 or later).
Memory
8 GB minimum. 16 GB for long sessions with multitrack audio.
Storage
Allow 100 GB or more free for a full tech day.
Camera
Any USB or Thunderbolt camera macOS recognises, or an NDI source.
Audio
Any Core Audio interface for programme, comms and LTC.
Network
A wired LAN for Stage Display. Wi-Fi is fine for Live Notes.

When the trial ends

ShowRevue becomes the free Viewer on that Mac. It keeps playing recordings and following live shows, and a Base, Professional or Max licence brings recording back.
